Please follow these guidelines when adding animals to the Grand Central Pets web site.

|
|
|
Initially, only birds, cats, and dogs can be listed for adoption, breeding, or sale on the Grand Central Pets site. Horses, reptiles and small animals will be available for posting in Fall 2008.

|
When adding animals that are for sale you can post a litter or, as we recommend, each animal in the litter separately. Please be aware that once someone contacts you to make an offer to purchase your animal your listing is marked as "sale pending" on the site. This means people will no longer be able to contact you about purchasing that animal. This is why it is advantageous to you to list each litter mate individually. If you do decide to post a litter please be sure to pay the extra fee for each litter mate so your posting will stay displayed up to that many offers for purchase.

You must be registered as a pet adoption agency or shelter to list animals for adoption/free on the site. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our individual subscribers.

|
When adding an animal please fill out the form to the best of your ability. This will better enable our search engine to match your animal with prospective owners.
|
|
|
When transporting or delivering your animal please be aware that you must follow each states appropriate guidelines for transporting pets. Anyone who plans to travel to another state(s) with their pet needs to have a health certificate ("Certificate of Veterinary Inspection"). In many states there are other regulations also. For detailed information about pet transportation please contact the states Agricultural or Veterinary department. You can also visit the USDA's APHIS site for more detailed information.

You must be registered for Pets Personals if you are looking for a 'playmate for your pet'.

|
You must agree to the sites Terms and Conditions to add an animal listing on the Grand Central Pets web site.
|
|
|
Please, please, please verify that the person trying to buy your pet will provide a good, loving home for them. The private message board is provided so that you and any potential buyer can familiarize yourselves with each other as well as verify the validity of the posting and arrange pick-up and/or delivery of the animal.
